Salomea Becquerel was born and raised in the Midwest. She moved to New York City after college to pursue a career in STEM/medicine and research publishing. After a few years in the industry, she decided to quit her day job and focus on writing full-time.
Salomea Becquerel's books touch on complex topics such as armed conflict, internal displacement, trauma, mental illness, and the vulnerability of being human. Many of her stories feature strong female characters, and are often inspired by her own experiences. She is a pure "pantser" and creates her stories without a roadmap or even a compass, taking her readers on an authentic journey.
Salomea Becquerel is an associate member of the Romance Writers of America and the Authors Guild. She lives in New York City with her husband, and is a lifelong lover of traveling, green tea, and Japanese cuisine.
